We finally arrived in Hong Kong!
We weren't sure we would ever GET to Hong Kong! We arrived at the Shanghai airport at 7am for our flight which was scheduled to leave at 9. We boarded the plane on time.....at 8:30....but sat on the runway for almost two hours!! Our plane did not takeoff until 10:33am.....geeeesh! This is the second time on the trip that we sat on the runway for over an hour before taking off.
Hong Kong is comparable to Shanghai. Very modern with lots of commercial shopping centers and a beautiful harbor. We have tours booked for the next two days to see it all! Looks like it may be a "rainy" stay here in Hong Kong.
