Today we paid to do an optional excursion into the Three Gorges Scenic Spot.  This area contains all natural landscape elements and old cultural representations that are combined to reveal some of the living conditions and working crafts of the natives.  Also included on this adventure were impressive rocks, waterfalls, caves, and springs....making for great photo opportunities throughout the morning!

Finally free from the confines of our tiny river boat cabin....we took this opportunity to play on the rocks and get a little wet under the waterfalls.  At one point during our walk, we came upon a staged Chinese wedding ceremony.  The bride threw down a bouquet from a second-story porch to a gentleman in the audience....who was then chosen to be the groom.  I would've loved to seen the rest of the ceremony....but the Chinese tourists took over!  These people are like flies on sh*t over here.  As soon as there is an opportunity to take a picture of something....or eat free food....they literally go nuts!  They push.  They butt in line.  They literally walk right through you if you're in their way.  It's insane....at least to us!  None of that non-sense behavior seems to bother them one bit.....because they all do it....all the time!

Luckily, we were able to find a few secluded spots for pictures.
