The coolest part of our morning excursion was the WILD MONKEYS!!!  No cage.  No fence.  Just wild monkeys everywhere!  I can't imagine you've ever seen anything quite like this!  They were running, jumping, and patiently waiting along the base of the mountain for tourists to feed them peanuts.  A local vendor conviently had a peanut stand set up nearby....and Jenesa bravely risked getting rabies from these wild Chinese monkeys for this wonderful photo-op.

While Jenesa marched right up to these monkeys....I played it safe - at a distance - and practiced using the zoom on my camera.  I spotted several monkeys carrying around young babies.  These baby monkeys would ride along with their mothers on her belly as she moved around the mountain-side.  I managed to zoom in at just the right time to capture a picture worthy of National Geographic....and it didn't even cost me a peanut!
