No tai chi in this park.  This is the Hershey Park of Hong Kong....otherwise known as Ocean Park.

It's been raining cats and dogs over here in Hong Kong.  And, lucky us, today we were scheduled to go to an amusement park.  This was a pre-booked tour that was planned before we arrived.....so rain or shine we were going!  Fortunately, the rain came in short spurts throughout the day....allowing us plenty of dry time to have some fun in the park!

Jenesa and I cruised to the top of the mountain on the cable cars.....which allowed you to overlook the Hong Kong beaches and the Pacific Ocean down below.  Once you get to the top, most of the park's thrill rides and animal habitats were located up there.  Jenesa hopped on a roller coaster.  I ate at McDonald's.  We visited a dolphin "school" and research center.  Jumped on an underground tram down through the mountain.  Walked through a large Aquarium.  And then it was Panda Time!!!

When we first booked this trip to China, we were not sure if we would be seeing any pandas.  China is famous for pandas....so we wanted to see them somewhere!  Fortunately, we got to see them in Beijing.... but it was not previously advertised in our group travel brochure when we first booked our trip.  So we pre-arranged a guaranteed panda stop in Hong Kong.  It just so happens there are 4 giant pandas located at this theme park!
