Have you ever seen water that just reflected so perfectly it looked like a mirror?
Our shore excursion today was a trip to the Lesser (smaller) Three Gorges along the Daning River. At the Qutang Gorge, the smallest of the three Yangtze gorges, we boarded a smaller boat to finish the roundtrip transfer.
It was through this smaller gorge that the site of the water was mind-boggling. It reflected the bluffed banks and terraced hillsides like a perfect mirror. We cruised through this area with our tour group....each of us taking turns posing on the front deck of the vessel.
Jenesa even dressed up to scare away the fabled spirits of the 12 fairies that legend believes exist in the Twelve (mountain) Peaks.
